John Calvin King
John Calvin King, one of Henderson township's oldest and most widely known citizens, died on Tuesday of this week after a long illness of a complication of diseases. Deceased was aged 76 years, 2 months and 3 days and had resided for many years between this place and Troutville where he had followed the vocation of a carpet weaver.
Funeral services were conducted here yesterday in the Baptist church, the pastor, Rev. C.O. Fuller, officiating. Interment was made in the Sykesville cemetery.
