He was born in the Town of Plymouth on May 17, 1887, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry H, Waterman. He attended district school and Plymouth High School, and on June 28, 1911 was married to Euphemia Peebles. Following their marriage the couple resided in Plymouth, the Town of Lyndon, Town of Plymouth, and returned to Plymouth in 1941.
He was a member of the 50-And Up Club in Plymouth, and, besides farming, was a carpenter by trade and also worked in the painting business until his retirement in 1957.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev, Lowell Ferguson, pastor of Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church of Plymouth, will be in charge of services and burial will lie in Greenbush Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon until time of services.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Waterman, at home, and Mrs Raymond (Edith) Zimmerman, of Sheboygan; one son. James R, Waterman, Town of Plymouth; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, of Town of Plymouth, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Brown of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by one son, Glenn.
