MULLINS - Jonathan Edward Buchan, 61, died Sunday at his office.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Mullins Presbyterian Church with burial in Cedardale Cemetery.
Mr. Buchan was born in Marion County, a son of the late Archibald Hinson and Clara Smith Buchan. He was a former president of the A. H. Tobacco Co., a former general manager of North America for Galliher Tobacco Co. Ltd, and was an elder, trustee and member of Mullins Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Liles Buchan; a son, Jonathan E. Buchan Jr. of Rock Hill; two daughters, Miss Frances Scarlett Buchan of Brunswick, Ga. and Mrs. Caroline Robson of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. W. R. Creighton of Mullins; and 1 grandchild.
