Professional Football Player. For nine seasons (1985 to 1993), he played at the fullback and linebacker positions in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Hudson had already cut his teeth on the gridiron playing with the Oshawa Hawkeyes Juniors, when he was signed by Toronto of the CFL. He experienced a Grey Cup Championship in 1990 with Winnipeg, as he contributed two touchdowns in the 50 to 11 Blue Bombers' victory over Edmonton, while receiving All-Star status. He earned All-Star honors a second time in 1992. Throughout his career, Hudson was a highly-regarded blocker and offensive threat, compiling 1,507 rushing yards with 15 touchdowns in 144 CFL games. Following his football career, he worked as a stagehand in the theater. He died of complications from brain cancer at the age of 49. (bio by: C.S.)
