A native of Archer, Florida, she was born March 25, 1922 to the late Calhoun and Alice (Thomas) Tindale, and spent most of her life in Citrus County. Eloise is survived by two children, Eloise "Ginger" Whitton Jackson of Pine Ridge and "Ricki" Abbe who resides in Montana; numerous nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, June Hinkle, in 1979 and her two brothers, Glenn and Doyle Tindale.
