In censuses in 1860, 1870, and 1880, he was a butcher in New Vienna, Clinton Co, OH. The 1900 death record (also listing his occupation as butcher) is available at FamilySearch but doesn't say where is buried. Given that he died in New Vienna and that family members were buried at New Vienna IOOF, that's a logical assumption, but it's unknown what the death certificate (if any) says about place of burial, and no tombstone or burial record shows up in published Clinton County cemetery inscriptions. The county death record lists him as married at the time of his death.
