Mary Ann loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her constant companion was her little poodle Muffy of 17 years. They went everywhere together and were the best of friends. Mom loved crafting, puzzles, playing board games and crocheting. One of her favorite things was gathering trinkets to give and send to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Ann will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her siblings, Claire Price, Ron Price, Ed Price (Bonnie) and Karen Fairbanks (Douglas); five children, Julie Hancey (Bruce), Lorrie ValDez (James), Kathy Briggs (Thomas), Roger Pitkin (Trish) and Curtis Pitkin (Brett); 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren with two more expected; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father and mother; her sister, Mary Lou Price; brothers, Elton Junius Price and Clain L. Price; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Price and Betty Rose Price.
Services will be at noon Friday, Feb. 17, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services Friday at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery.
