Lydia Kowalski, daughter of Edward Kowalski and Augusta Leopold, was living at the Chicago Orphan Asylum at the time of the 1900 federal census. Her parents had divorced. Later, she took the name of her mother's second husband. Lydia married William Mauge on 16 Dec 1911 in Chicago. Their marriage license was dated 12 Dec 1911. Lydia was interred on 30 Jun 1969.
