"Bachelor Brothers Die Hours Apart": Police yesterday reported the deaths of two brothers. Louis BERGMAN, 65, and Axel, 54, both of 1784 Crawford Road N. E. Louis, who was ill, asked neighbors in the apartment building to call the police. His brother was sick, he said. Police took Axel to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 12:03 p. m. Dr. Samuel R. GERBER, county coroner, said Axel had evidently died Wednesday. When police returned to inform Lewis of the death they found him unconscious in the apartment. He was also taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and died there at 2:52 p. m., a short time after being admitted. A coroner's ruling will be made on the deaths, believed to have resulted from natural causes. Neighbors told police the brothers, said to be bachelors, had not worked for more than a year."
