Bubba was my best buddy for almost 14 years. My Gentle Giant, a Maine Coon, that I bought from a breeder in Tulsa, OK.
He quickly grew into a very large cat, long legs and a very long body. Big and strong. Yet his spirit was very sweet and gentle. His voice was so small, you could barely hear it.
He was never a lap cat, but he would quietly slip on the couch or bed and lay very close to me. He loved having his hair brushed while he ate. He went through a stage of grooming my hair at night.
Never afraid of anything, he would greet visitors when they came to the door. Everyone loved him.
I can't remember what life was like without him. This is going to be hard.
