Robert P. Marendt, Sr., aged 62 years, died at the Newton D. Baker Veterans Administration Hospital,
Martinsburg, W. Va.Mr. Marendt was born in Washington, Ind. a son of the late David John and Elizabeth Conrad Marendt.

Daughter: Mrs. James E. McClellan
Worked a number of years at the Naval Gun Factory. He was on the staff of Shipley's, Inc.
Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, World War I, serving with the Sixth Regiment from September 23, 1917 to August 4, 1919, and was awarded the Silver Star medal. He was discharged in March of 1927.
