He gained recognition in 1968 playing the boyfriend of Diahann Carroll in her situation comedy "Julia." Other roles include 'The Mirror' on the television series "The Charmings" and 'Capt. Clark Terrell' in the motion picture "Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan."
