Sarah Lee (c 1772- ),daughter of John Lee and Elizabeth Thompson, married first Cornelius Brothers, Jr. Feb 28, 1791 in Nelson county. Jesse Ice stepfather gave consent. John L. Brothers was a child of this marriage.
Sarah Lee Brothers married secondly Oct 3, 1793, in Nelson county, widower George Clark ( -1807 ) who named in his will proven in Nelson county Dec. 15, 1807, wife Sarah Clark and sons Joseph and James (Joseph was from a previous marriage of decedent).Sarah Lee Brothers Clark married thirdly, post 1807, widower Joseph Beavins ( -1819) who named in his will proven in Washington county Feb. 10 , 1819, wife Sarah, seven children from a previous marriage and his wife's son James L. Clark who had married decedent's daughter, Tracy Beavin, Jan 5 , 1814.
