Major League Baseball Player. Born in Auburn, Indiana, he was an infielder nicknamed ‘Bunions', making his debut with the Chicago White Sox on April 14, 1910. For nine seasons, he played over 100 games at all four infield positions for the Chicago White Sox 1910 to 1912, New York Yankees in 1913, Chicago Chi-Feds in 1914, Chicago Whales in 1915, and the Chicago Cubs from 1916 to 1918. A fast player, he ended his career with 224 stolen bases, 769 hits, 393 runs scored, 5 homeruns, 253 batted in and a .240 batting average. He died at age 83 in Auburn, Indiana. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
