The names of their children follow: Mrs. W. J. Clements, Atlantic, Iowa; Mrs. Mabel Knight of Holmes, Iowa; Mrs. Ethel Reichter, Goldfield, Iowa; Warren Vest, of Goldfield; Howard Vest, Ventura, Calif., all of whom were at their mother's bedside when she passed away. Mrs. Vest was a member ot the Methodist church in Goldfield for 14 years, and a charter member of the Rebecca lodge.
The deceased was a dutiful wife and mother, a cheerful and loyal friend. She was a long and most patient sufferer, having been confined to her bed the greater part of the last three years, during which time no sign, of impatience, no word of complaint was ever manifested. On the contrary, when lying helpless she seemed as happy as if contemplating a pleasant journey. And, in the event of her departure, her expiring breath was of the nature of a deep sigh and the end of a day well spent.
The grief-stricken husband and family have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afternoon at the M. E. church in Goldfield by the pastor, Rev. D. M. Simpson.
Interment was made in the family lot in the Goldfield cemetery.
