A. A. MAINORD, 85, farmer, died this morning at 4 o'clock at his home in Beech Bluff after an extended illness. He was born and reared in Madison County and was well known in the community where he made his home. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Flake Mainord; three sons, J. E. Mainord of Kansas City, Alphis Mainord and W. M. Mainord of Madison County; three daughters, Mrs. W. M. Flake and Mrs. J. W. Flake of Jackson, Miss Dorothy Mainord of Madison County; two brothers, Henry Mainord of Jackson and Tucker Mainord of Texas; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Alexander of Hornersville, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. T. L. Campbell and the Rev. Hurt. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
