The many friends of Mr. T. J. Mr. Overstreet was born March 1st, 1830 and was married to Sarah J. Overstreet, Oct. 6th, 1853. Besides a wife, the following children survive the deceased; Annie, who married M.H. Cecil, Harrodsburg; Jennie, the wife of N.W. Sampson, Halls Gap, Lincoln County; Mattie, who married Rev. R.B. Baird, of the Kentucky Conference; Misses, Sudie, Nannie and Walter Overstreet. The last three reside at home. The Deceased had been a local preacher for about thirty years and remarked a few minutes before he died that he had trusted Jesus for forty years with unshaken faith.
