Pauline Salyer Broyles, 85, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Heritage Hall Health Care Wise, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar (Soupy) Broyles. She was a member and past matron of the Order of Eastern Star No. 153; member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 24 and past district deputy; charter member of the Coeburn Civic League; member of the Odd Fellows; Coeburn Kiwanis Club and a former employee of Sturgill Funeral Home Coeburn, Va. Surviving are her son, Greg Broyles and his wife, Kathy, of Coeburn; a granddaughter, Jessica Mosley and her husband, Tony, of Big Stone Gap, Va.; a grandson, Brandon Broyles of Coeburn; a great-granddaughter, Rylee Mosley; a great-grandson, Landon Broyles; a sister, Loretta Smith of Wise; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sturgill Funeral Home, 310 6th Street NW, Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. in the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel Coeburn with Elder Stacy Potter officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at the Greenwood Acres Cemetery, Coeburn.
