Mrs. John Stemm.
Miss Mary Henney was born March
22, 1811, in Center [Centre} county, Pa.,
was married to Mr. John Stemm, Oct.
1830, and died Thursday, April 12,
1894, at the age of 83 years and 21
days. She united with the German
Reformed church in Pennsylvania
at the age of 14 years. Her social
habits were of a very quiet nature,
and she was never known to speak
ill of others. Those surviving her
are the aged husband, who is 87,
two sons and two daughters. Mother
Stem [Stemm] was a faithful wife and mother
for a period of more than 63 years.
The funeral was conducted by Rev.
W. J. Funkey, at the Salem Luther-
an church.
