William Dickenson "Wild Bill" Hunter

Death: Dec. 16, 2002

Hockey Coach and Businessman. Hunter played hockey for the Paisley Pirates from 1959 to 1960 in the BNL hockey league, and was also head coach of the Saskatoon Quakers from 1948 to 1949 in the WCSHL hockey league, and head coach of the Edmonton Oil Kings from 1968 to 1970 in the WCHL hockey league. Also a noted businessman, Hunter founded and promoted the Edmonton Oilers NHL team franchise. (bio by: K)

This "K" Individual has everyone else as FAMOUS, but not this person. I knew him very well. This man did every thing. was a builder in Hockey, started the WHA. I could go on and on.
