Taylor Michael Sorenson

Services for Taylor Michael Sorenson, 23, Lindale, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at First Baptist Church, Mineola, with the Rev. Mark Fletcher officiating.

Burial will be 11:15 a.m., Friday, Feb. 10, in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery under direction of Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Mr. Sorenson died Feb. 5, 2012, in Tyler.

He was born April 19, 1988, in Ennis and had resided in Lindale for 2 1/2 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Mineola, and a college student and had served in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death by grandmother, Delores Sorenson.

Survivors include parents, Mike and René Sorenson of Lindale; daughter, Genesis Sorenson of Bullard; brothers, Jonathan Sorenson and Kelly of Tatum, Cameron Sorenson of Lindale; maternal grandparents, J.T. and Barbara Alewine of Malakoff; paternal grandfather and wife, Gene Sorenson and Sue of Burleson; aunts, uncles and cousins; and niece, Abby Sorenson of Tatum.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.
