Mrs. Mirl Mealer, 58, died Friday night at Harris Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was the former Annie Mae Sullivan, daughter of Zach and Annie Beard Sullivan of Williamson County. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Franklin Memorial Chapel. Burial was in the Robinson Cemetery in the Boston community.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lula Pearl Holt and Mrs. Annie Marie Claiborne, both of Franklin; two sons, Leonard Earl and Richard M. Mealer, both of Thompson Station, Tenn.; two brothers, Jerry Sullivan, Tullahoma, Tenn., and Jay H. Sulivan, Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. Rollie Johnson of Thompson Station, Mrs. Mary Taylor, Brentwood, Tenn., Mrs. Emma Mahan, Nashville, and Mrs. Delt Canady, Bon Aqua, Tenn., and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Paul G., Dennis, and James Mealer, Arthur Byrd Johnson, Ellis Ingram, Glenn and James Sullivan.
