She was born in Fitchberg, Mass., on Oct. 4, 1909, to Fred and Wilhelmina Carlson. She was a homemaker for most of her life and had worked as a seamstress at Northland Manufacturing Company until retiring in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd; her sisters Ellen Randall, Evelyn Lilliberg; her brothers Elmer and Wallace Carlson; and a daughter Lois Marczak.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Melvin) Kooda, a brother Francis Carlson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend Zane Bail.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
