Jack was the sixth of ten children born to John McKinley and Myrtle (Brown) Walton. He died at the young age of only 5 weeks.

WALTON CHILD DEAD
Burlington, March 31. - Jack A. Walton, aged five weeks, son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Walton, died of measles at their home, 915 East Davis street, this morning about 7 o'clock. Mrs. Walton and the children are confined to their home with measles now.
Surviving are the parents and four brothers and sisters: John E., Clara, Ernest, and Joyce. Funeral service was held at Burke Funeral home this afternoon at 3 o'clock and the little body was interred in Pine Hill cemetery.
