Indian Bayou, Louisiana
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2003 at Indian Bayou Methodist Church for Doris Edel Daly Burke, 88, who died Wednesday, April 2, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Rev. Ross Genger will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda K. Bojarski of Forest Hill, MD and Marsha B. Sieber of Lafayette; four sons, Michael Gene Burke of Houma, Darryl Dean Burke of Lafayette, Henry Byron Burke of Houston and Thomas Don Burke of Houma; 14 fourteen grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Burke is preceded in death by her husband, Solomon Morgan Burke; one daughter, Donna B. Crawley; her parents, Robert and Pearl Dubose Daly; and three sisters, Marjorie Ball, Melba Holle and Gwen Abramson.
Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
