Paul Guy Biddle, 61, of Washington Terrace died 29 Jan 2012.
Paul was born June 23, 1950 in Tremonton the son of Guy Odell and Lois Pearl Biddle.
Paul served his country after graduating from Roy High School, in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam War, finishing up with the 31st Engineer Corp Reserve Unit for 12 years. He worked for Hill AFB for a total of 31 years before retiring. He is a member of the VFW Post 1481.
Paul is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a High Priest. After retiring Paul was called to be an Ogden Ordinance Worker which he enjoyed. Paul's love was doing Genealogy, which he did for many years. Paul had a special connection with Santa Claus and was one of his more faithful helpers. Paul was one of the first to be called as a Varsity Chairman and taught on the District Level for many years. He followed his father's footsteps in scouting. Paul started the Halloween cave in the garage that the neighbors enjoyed.
He married Cathy Gilbert, she passed away Jan. 1982, he then married Clarice Hellewell in Aug. 1983 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother and wife, Cathy.
Paul is survived by his mother; wife, Clarice; children, Aimee (Jared) Castle, South Ogden, Michael (Katie), Sunset, JoAnn (Stephan) Cook, Lehi, Robert W. Biddle currently serving a LDS Mission in Kentucky and Brian Ptacek currently serving a LDS Mission in Montana; grandchildren, Parker Cook and Annabel Castle.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Janet Williams at the VA Hospital for her care, and the Hospice team, they have been more than helpful! Thank You!
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Washington Terrace 10th Ward, 125 E. 5350 So., Washington Terrace. Viewings will be held at the church on Thursday, February 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment in the Ben Lomond Cemetery.
