Paul NEFF, 60, Cass county farmer, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at Mayos hospital, Rochester, Minn., where he had gone a week previously for a checkup. His wife and family were notified Wednesday evening that his condition was critical and left immediately for Rochester. He was born in Bethlehem township, Cass county, Oct. 22, 1894, to Jess and Karen (HARTER) NEFF. He was a lifelong resident of that community. Surviving are his wife, at home; a brother, Wayne [NEFF] of Metea; a sister, Mrs. Carl CUNNINGHAM, of near Logansport; two step-children; and step-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews. The body is being returned to the Ditmire funeral home, Fulton. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Paul NEFF, 60, who died Thursday evening at Rochester, Minn., will be held 2 p.m. CST Monday at the Metea Baptist church. The Rev. Harry REA will officiate and burial will be in the Greenlawn cemetery, Mexico. Friends may call at he Ditmire funeral home after noon Sunday. The body will lie in state at the church from noon Monday until the hour of the services.
