Arthur L. Bourland, 52, passed away Wednesday at his home in Crowder. He is survived by his wife, five sons and six daughters. The children are: John Bourland, with the U. S. Army in France, Orval Bourland, with the U. S. Navy in Alaska waters, J. C. Bourland, A. D. Bourland and Norman Bourland, of the home; Mrs. Florine Shropshire of Crowder, living in Arizona, Miss Marvina Bourland also in Arizona and Opal, Norma and Thelma Dean, of the home. He also leaves three sisters, two brothers and 10 grandchildren. The sisters are Mrs. Odie R. Walker, San Pedro, Calif., Mrs. B. N. McCoy, Oklahoma City, Mrs. J. D. Morton, Portland, Oregon. His brothers are W. O. Bourland, who resides in California and Floyd S. Bourland of Crowder. Funeral arrangements were incomplete this forenoon. Humphrey's is in charge.
