Mrs Inice Ells Lovejoy, daughter of Mr and Mrs George Ells of Covelo, passed away at the Mt Zion Hospital in San Francisco. Mrs Lovejoy was born in Ukiah April 14, 1896. She lived in Willits with her parents until about 16 years ago when the Ells family moved to Round Valley where they have resided since. Mrs Lovejoy was educated in Covelo schools, graduating from Round Valley High School, later attendcing the San Jose Normal School from which institution she graduated five years ago. The two following years were spent in teaching. December 15, three years ago she married Robert Lovejoy. Since that time Mr and Mrs Lovejoy have lived in Round Valley. She began to fail in health about one year ago. Through the long months of suffering and even toward the end, when death seemed certain, Mrs Lovejoy displayed the most heroic and brave spirit, enduring pain without complaint. Her death is mourned by a host of friends. No better thing could be said of the deceased than that she was a loving mother, a dutiful daughter, a devoted wife and friend to all. She is survived by her little daughter, Imogene, her husband Robert, her parents, Mr and Mrs George Ells, a brother, Russell Ells and sister, Mrs Walter of Covelo.
