RIDDELL, Roscoe Jennings "Ross" age 81, of Middletown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Atrium Medical Center where he had been a patient for two weeks.

He was born October 18, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio. He was employed as a salesman at Harry's Corner Carpet for 45 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of The Oasis Church, where he was in charge of their Food Pantry. Roscoe was a good Christian man, serving the Lord everyday, and helped fill many pantries for many families. He was a true family man. He received the 2003 Janet Clemmons SELF Community Award.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Roscoe and Gertrude (Willis) Riddell; one daughter, Cindy Newman; and one brother, Donnie Riddell.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Pearl Riddell; four children, Deborah A. Wagers, Gregory L. Riddell, Bill J. Moore and William E. Moore; nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren; and one brother Willis Riddell and wife Marilyn.

Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Oasis Church, 6927 Lefferson Road, Middletown, Ohio, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Tim Sheets and Rev. Lonnie Gabbard officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his wife. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
