Walter Allen Scroggins, a resident of Sulphur, OK was born February 26, 1953 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Myrtie Alease (Smith) and Curtis Clayton Scroggins. He passed away January 28, 2012 at the age of 58 years 11 months and 2 days. He was married to Twila Jeanine (Millard) Scroggins at Henderson, TX on June 30, 1975. He worked as a Truck Driver for Boden Concrete. He moved from Scurry, TX to Sulphur, OK in November of 2009. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister - Gladys Mae Dean, and a brother - Jerry Wayne Scroggins.
Survived by his Wife - Twila Jeanine Scroggins of the home.; Daughter and Son in law - Tanya and Rick Cameron of Sulphur, OK; 2 Sons and Daughters in law - Daniel and Sue Scroggins of Jamestown, NY; Bryan and Linda Scroggins of Sulphur, OK; 5 Brothers and Spouses - Tommy and LaVerne White of Fort Worth, TX; Curtis C. Scroggins of Talco, TX; Wyman and Gayle Scroggins of Corgan, TX; Johnny and Jennifer Scroggins of Talco, TX; Ronald Glenn Griser of Enos, OK; 7 Grandchildren; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First Free Will Baptist Church in Sulphur, OK officiated by Rev. Richard Terry. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home of Sulphur, OK.
