Viola Johnson 68, Carriage Inn, Cadiz, died Monday in Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. she was born Feb. 11, 1920 at Dillonvale, a daughter of the late Ingle M. and Harriett Elizabeth Dayton.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Johnson; five sons, Ingle Malone Dayton of Baltimore, MD., Clarence Leroy Johnson and Robert Eugene Johnson, both of Maynard, Lewis Lee Johnson of Cadiz and Ronald Edward Johnson of Masillon, and Mrs. Roy (Catherine) Whaley of Baltimore; a brother, Chester Dayton of Martins Ferry; five sisters Bessie Oliver of Bridgeport, Evelyn Rinkes of Mingo Junction, Mrs. Cloyd Violet Ocenbine of Warren, Lenora Dayton of Cadiz and Netamae Rinks of Loraine; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Clark-Kirkland Fneral Home, Cadiz after 9:30 am Friday. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday in Georgetown Cemetery with the Rev. Hobert Eddy officiating.
