William Allen Graves died at his home in the east part of town last Thursday night, aged 57 years. He was a native of Kentucky but had lived in this county for more than twenty years. He was married in 1871 to Miss Sarah Pickerel who died in 1900. Ten children were born to them, seven of whom are living and were able to be with their father in his last moments. In 1901 Mr. Graves married Mrs. Emma Marshal of this place, who services him and who bestowed upon him unceasing care and devotion during the long, trying weeks of his illness. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Evangelical church and the body laid to rest in Riverview cemetery. _________
