Mrs. Catharine Dreyer, former Ellensburg resident of many years, died this morning at Vancouver, Washington at the age of 92 years. Catharine Wippel was born January 8, 1870 in Tentown, Indiana and came to Ellensburg in 1912. She moved to Vancouver in 1960. She was preceded in death by her husband. Herman Dreyer, in Ellensburg in 1936. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Gladys Murchland of Grandview and Mrs. Oliver Klossner of Vancouver; a son, Ben Dreyer of Ellensburg, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Others are three sisters, Mrs. Anna Mueller of Spokane; Mrs. Gerturde Valen of Anaheim, California, and Miss Elizabet Wippel of Seattle.
Rosary services will be held Sunday, July 29 at St. Andrew's Church with requiem mass at the church, Monday morning, July 30, at 9 a.m.
