Anne (Medved) McCaskey, 79, of Yardley, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Twp.

Born and raised in Steelton [sic], Mrs. McCaskey was formerly of Lancaster, where she attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing. She moved to Levittown in 1953, where she resided for several years before moving to Mechanicsburg. She has resided in Yardley for the past two and a half years; was employed as a registered nurse at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill for many years until retiring in 1988 and was a former member of Immaculate Conception Parish.

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul D. McCaskey and was the mother of the late Therese McCaskey.

Surviving are her six loving children, Mary Sorrentino and her husband, Bart of Levittown, Bob McCaskey and his wife, Marie of Yardley, Michael McCaskey and his wife, Mary Frances of Roanoke, VA, Ann Cooper and her husband, Dan of Germany, Mark McCaskey and his wife, Eleanor of Shelby Twp., MI and John McCaskey and his wife, Anita of Manassas Park, VA. She will also be sadly missed by 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Medved of Steelton and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday morning from 8:15-9:15 a.m., at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Monday, at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Harrisburg.
