BLOOMING GROVE, April 10 (Spl.) — Joseph M. Biggar, 59 material foreman of the Worth Construction Company, died Saturday night in Memorial Hospital, Corsicana, following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held from the First Methodist church here Monday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.
The rites were conducted by Rev. Carl Gilkerson, pastor, and Rev. Denzil Wright, Hubbard former pastor here.
A native of Bowie, he had resided here about 20 years.
Surviving are his wife of Blooming Grove, two sons Joseph W. Biggar, Lancaster, and Walter Biggar, Blooming Grove; mother, Mrs. W. F. Biggar, Fort Worth; two brothers Bill and J. W. Biggar, both of Gainesville, and a sister, Mrs. T. L. Dobson. Farmington, N.M., and other relatives.
Pallbearers were T. R. Ryan, Fort Worth; Marvin Shows, Emhouse; Reagan Grounds, Joe McGraw, C. E. Warren and E. L. Hiler, all of Blooming Grove.
Honorary pallbearers were officials and employees of the Worth Construction Company and Austin Road Company.
McCormick Funeral Service directed.
