STEVENS (FISHER), LORRAINE R.:- November 11, 2007

All American Girl Professional Baseball player, died at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Lorraine played professional baseball in the AAGPBL from 1947 to 1949. Baseball, her seven children, 15 grandchidlren and one great granddaughter were the highlights of her life.Lorraine is survived by her sons, Roger (Kathy) Stevens, Thomas (Casey) Stevens, Gary (Janet) Stevens and David Stevens; her daughters, Kathy (Alan) Lindamood, Anne Chilcote and Peg Blanken-baker; 15 grandchildren, Joshua Stevens, Sarah (Shane) Grant, Kristen (Joshua) Owens, Kelley Stevens, Michael Stevens, Kevin Stevens, Nicolas Stevens, Christopher Lindamood, Katelyn Lindamood, Jeni Lindamood, Kayla Chilcote, Daniel Chilcote, Alexander Blanken-baker, Jacob Blankenbaker and Jessica Blankenbaker; one great granddaugher, Ryan Grant; one sister, Rosemary Kaske; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Mass of the Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Bernard Reilly officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Educational Trust Fund or Hospice of Jackson & Oaklawn.
