MARIAN DELORCE DIVELBLISS, 80, died on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at Berkeley Springs Rehab & Nursing and was under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born June 5, 1931 in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Herbert and Nora Evelyn Keifer Piper.

She was a member of Love Assembly of God in Berkeley Springs. She attended public schools in Oldtown, and was a retired seamstress from Londontown Manufacturing Company in Hancock. She had been a homemaker in recent years and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies. Marian was active with Senior Life Services of Morgan County and she enjoyed playing bingo, dominoes, walking, taking car rides, church activities and word search puzzles.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Lou Smelser of Great Cacapon; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Hutchinson of Great Cacapon and Roger Keith Hutchinson of Berkeley Springs; four sisters, Olive Beeman of Oldtown, Dora Wilson of Cumberland, Phyllis Rader of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Joyce Frye of Romney, W.Va.; one brother, James Piper of Oldtown; 11 grandchildren, Marty Wayne Powers of Great Cacapon, Lori Ann Woodal of Berkeley Springs, James Douglas Hutchinson of Randleman, N.C., Jason Wayne Hutchinson and Melanie Cheri' Hutchinson, both of Berkeley Springs, Erica Lynn Hutchinson and Amy Michelle Hutchinson, both of Great Cacapon, Bradley Allan Hutchinson of Hagerstown, Nichole Marie Hiett-Hutchinson of Uniontown, Tenn., Marra May Hutchinson and Brooklyn Dawn Hutchinson, both of Berkeley Springs; nine great grandchildren; numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Irvin Arley Hutchinson Sr.; her second husband, the Rev. Floyd A. Truax; her third husband, Curtis William Divelbliss; one son, Irvin Arley Hutchinson Jr.; and two sisters, Helen Lydard and Glenda Robertson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at Love Assembly of God, 73 Buzzard Acres Lane, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Dave Kidwell officiating.

Interment will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

The funeral home will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.
