CHERYL A. BISHOP Mt. Morris, Formerly of Maple Grove Twp.
Age 38, passed away Saturday January 22, 1994 near Luzerne, Mi, the result of a snowmobile accident. She was born in Saginaw on August 9, 1955, the daughter of Helen E. (Klein) Bishop and the late John V. Bishop. She attended the New Lothrop Schools, graduating in 1973. Cheryl resided most of her life in the Maple Grove area with the last 10 years in Mt. Morris. She had worked at Buick in Flint as an Experimental Test Mechanic in Plant 78 engineering, at Factory 36 engine plant and also at Johnny's Restaurant in Maple Grove. Funeral service took place on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. MIchaels Catholic Church, Maple Grove Twp. The Rev. Fr. Bob Byrne officiated with burial at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Friends were able to call at Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning Sunday and Monday. A scripture service was held Monday evening. Surviving are: her mother Helen Bishop, Maple Grove; 5 sisters,Linda and Pat Jordan, Oakley: Rebecca Bishop, Chesaning; Jackie and Steve Harris, Chesaning; Sandra and Fred Seymour, Wayland; Judie and Ernie Birchmeier, New Lothrop; 4 brothers, Bernard and Harriett Bishop, Raymond and Eydie Bishop, Edward and Diane Bishop, all of Chesaning;Robert and Kathy Bishop, Dewitt; also many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; a special god child- Nicole Harris. Her Father John Bishop predeceased her in 1991.
