Frank C. Routt, son of former Gov. John L. Routt and well-known to the old-timers of Colorade, died yesterday at Pueblo. His death was due to Bright's disease, a trouble which has been developing for several years.
Mr. Routt who was 63 years old, passed his entire life in Colorade with the exception of a few years in Washington, D,C, when his father was in congress there. The early part of his life was occupied in mining operations. Interesting himself in a small way in mines in various parts of the state.
Since his father's death he has had entire charge of a large stock ranch near Fort Collins which was formerly owned by Governor Routt. Several months of each year were passed in Denver, where his sister, Mrs. W.H Bryant, and Mrs. Edward Collins, a half-sister, reside. He is also survived by another sister, Mrs. Frederick Butler of San Francisco; a brother, John Routt, of Goldfield, and two sons, Albert and Frank Routt.
In accordance with a request made before his death, his body will be brought to Denver and buried beside that of his father.
