Death of Two Prominent Citizens.
After a long and painful illness of several months, Mr. John Hufford, an old and much respected citizen of this (Jennings) township, died at his residence, near this place, last Tuesday at about nine o'clock a.m. On the following day Elder C. A. Manker preached the funeral discourse at the Christian Church, after which the remains were taken to the Whitson Cemetery and Interred by the members of Laurel Lodge I. O. O. F. of which order the deceased was a worthy member.
