On Thursday, September 6, 1979, at the Washington Adventist Hospital, Louis C. Brubaker, the beloved husband of Beulah B. Brubaker; father of Robert and William W. Brubaker, Elizabeth B. Barker and Cynthia B. Livinghouse; brother of Gladys Jones Brubaker and Harold L. Brubaker. There are seven grandchildren surviving.

Friends may visit with the family at the Takoma Funeral Home, 254 Carroll St., NW, on Saturday and Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Monday, September 10, at 11 a.m. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made in the form of contributions to the Heart Fund.

The funeral for Louis Cregloe Brubaker of Takoma Park, Md. will be conducted 11 a.m. today at Takoma Funeral Home. Burial will be in Takoma Park.

Mr. Brubaker, 81, died Thursday night at Washington Sanitorium of an apparent heart attack.

He was born July 21,1898 at Luray and was a son of the late Lee Cregloe and Annie Jones Brubaker.

He was educated in Luray School and Randolph Macon Academy at Front Royal. He was a veteran of World War I, having served with the 116th Infantry, 29th Division of the Blue and Gray. He belonged to Lafayette Lodge 137 AF&AM in Luray and was a member of a Methodist Church in Washington. Mr. Brubaker was twice married. His first wife, the former Lillian Leedy, is deceased.

Surviving are his second wife, Beulah Brooks Brubaker of Takoma Park; two sons, Robert Lee Brubaker of Bethesda, Md., and William W. Brubaker of Miami; two daughters, Mrs. James VanHolt Barker of Silver Spring, Md., and Cynthia Livinghouse of Takoma Park; a brother, Harold Lee Brubaker of Roanoke; a sister, Gladys Brubaker of Luray, and several grandchildren.
