Niles--Nick Zamarelli, 94, of 329 Lincoln Ave., died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 25, 1898, in Naples, Italy, a son of Alfonso and Philomena Zamarelli, and came to the United States in 1910, to Warren in 1915, and to Niles in 1920.
Mr. Zamarelli was the owner of Nick`s Barber Shop in Niles for 47 years before retiring in 1982. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a founder and member of the Ben-Lin Club, of Niles, and a former bowler and avid golfer.
His wife, the former Grace Barrickman, whom he married in 1917, died Dec. 21, 1982.
He is survived by a son, Dean of Niles; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
Three brothers, Frank, Anthony and James, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Pascale, are deceased. The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Joseph Rossi Funeral Home, Niles, where calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be Friday in Crown Hill Burial Park.
