Hezekiah Smith was born in Delaware, April 16, 1753. He enlisted at Granby, MA, Col. Marshal's 4th Hampshire County Regiment. He died April 26, 1824 and was originally buried near Trader's Point, Marion Co., IN. Hezekiah and his wife were moved to Crown Hill and re-interred in one grave (Crown Hill Cemetery records show the date of re-interrment as Oct 10, 1868). Records do not indicate why they were relocated to Crown Hill.
