FAIRFIELD — Walton C. Huff, 79, a life resident of the Big Cedar community, north of Stockport, died at his home at 6 p.m, Sept 3.

Huff had long been in failing health. He was born on Feb. 2, 1974. and was married to Stella A. Farmer on Nov 15, 1895. She survives, as do four sons: L. Verton Huff, Scottsbluff, Neb.; Boyd M. Huff, Oberlin, Kan,; C Rex Huff, Green Mountain Falls, Colo., and Howard Huff, a teacher in Tokyo, Japan.
Huff was a member of the Stockport Christian church, where last r i t e s will be conducted by the Rev. Elmer Fritz at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in Spencer cemetery.

The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.
