Birth: Oct. 3, 1888
Onondaga County
New York, USA
Death: Aug. 3, 1940

Pearl had 2 sons:
-1- Raymond D. Preston (father is Ralph Christian Tank)
-2- Harry George Lonsdale (father is Harry George Lonsdale)

Regarding her first marriage - there is a story in the Herald newspaper - Syracuse, NY - dated 7/20/1908 where it details the story. Ralph Christian Tank was born 28 Oct 1889 and therefore was 15 years old and Pearl was 16 years old when (in July 1905) they went to the Thousand Islands, took a steamer ride across the line into Canada and were united by a clergyman named Lockwood, to whom they omitted giving their correct ages. Upon returning home, they lived with Pearl's parents. A son, Raymond, was born in May 1906, and Ralph left his wife and son that September. The marriage was annulled in mid-1907. It seems that Raymond used as his last name Preston (his mother's maiden name) instead of Tank (his father's last name).

Funeral Services Are Arranged for Mrs. Pearl Lonsdale

Arrangements are being made for the funeral of Mrs. Pearl Louise Lonsdale, costumer and makeup specialist at the Wieting Opera House 25 years ago, who died suddenly at her home, 105 White Street, Saturday night.

A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Lonsdale was a life resident of this city. While employed at the opera house, she became acquainted with many of the players who later became prominent in motion pictures. She was the widow of Harry D. Lonsdale, formerly of the Crucible Steel Company.

Her sister, Mrs. Robert T. Williams of Hollywood, played summer engagements at the Wieting during the time Mrs. Lonsdale was active there. Surviving besides her sister are two sons, Raymond D. and Harry George Lonsdale, both of Syracuse; a brother, Alfred C. Preston of Washington, D. C., and several nieces and nephews.
