JANNETTE L. VASKO, ROYAL OAK, Age 62, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Avalon Hospice. Jannette was born in Montrose on February 11, 1942, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Vasko. Survivors inlcude four sisters, Marian Amman of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Frances (Dale) Silverthorn of Flint, Pauline Maike of White Cloud, and Mildred (Jim) Lamb of Sterling Heights; brother, Joseph (Olive) Vasko of Southfield; three special godchildren, David Lamb, Tim Silverthorn and Christine Simmons; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents. The family will greet visitors from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2004, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Rd. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Fuineral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton. Fr. William Wegher will officiate. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice.
