Author Mary Margaret Kaye (Hamilton) was born in Simla, India and spent a great part of her life there. Her most famous book, "The Far Pavillions," was set there and has been described as an 'Indian Gone With The Wind.' Among her other works are "Shadow of The Moon" and "The Sun In The Morning."
