Cedar Lake
John Desotell, 78, died early today in Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer after a long illness. He was a member of Holy Name Church in Cook. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Jay Courtney of Gladstone, Mich., Mrs. Lizarre Putvan of Rapid River, Mich., Mrs. Cordelia Hillward of New Berry, Mich., Mrs. Sarah Nelson of Gary, and Mrs. Albert Foster and Mrs. Edward Foster of Cedar Lake; sons, Napoleon of Barks River, Mich. and Bejamin and Lloyd of Cedar Lake, and brother Lowie of Gladstone. The body was taken to the Eller Funeral Home and late today will be sent to the Kelly Funeral Home in Gladstone where funeral services and burial will be held Thursday.
