Jeanette Viola Hanna, 84, of Union City, died Monday, January 26, 2004, at the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater.
She was born May 18, 1919, in Kissimmee, Florida, to Robert I. and Sarah J. (Partin) Smith.
She moved to Union City in 1939, where she has resided for the past 65 years.
She married Forrest Albert Warner in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1966. She married John W. Hanna in 1969, and he survives.
Mrs. Hanna worked as an accountant for area businesses for many years.
She was an active member of the Union City United Methodist Church and the Ruth Circle.
She loved to paint and work crossword puzzles.
Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Robert (Elaine) Warner of Homer, David (Vicki) Hanna of Battle Creek and Dan (Barbara) Hanna of Union City; two daughters, Susan (James) Frook of Battle Creek and Lorna (John) Fuller of Quincy; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Freda Britt of Kissimmee, Florida and Rebecca Michaelson of Tavares, Florida.
In addition to her first husband, Mrs. Hanna was preceded in death by two daughters, Rebecca Lee and Sharon Bell, both in 1997.
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Union City at a later date.
